The VCO candidate, Valued Client Outreach Telesales Account Manager (TAM) will be responsible for increasing our client’s total billed revenue by growing and protecting customer base of approximately 800 customers. The TAM will also handle the telecommunication needs of our client’s small and medium size customers in California via telephone. The TAM will develop and maintain a strong relationship with a module of customers. Current hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.

The overall responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• 70% minimum attainment of sales quota
• Maintain and increasing overall TBR, total bill revenue growth goals
• Excellent Customer Service
• Maintaining key client relationships with retention accounts
• Managing performance on program to meet and exceed client and company expectations and identify areas of improvement
• Perform account management funnel review according to established metrics
• Manage and maintain sales performance based on established client metrics
• Manage and maintain satisfied customer base

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Call Center / Telecom experience
• 2 years Sales experience in inbound / outbound or account management required
• Strong sales skills with a proven quota attainment
• Some college preferred, specialization in Telecommunications is a plus
• Knowledge of local voice and data product (T1, PRI, DSL) required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Technical and analytical aptitude
• Proven prospecting and customer qualifying techniques
• Ability to create sales proposals with excellent presentation phone skills
• Self starter, solution focused, negotiation skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Positive, constructive attitude and outlook
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (Oral / Written)
• Ability to work independently on projects
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
